WHAT HAPPENS IF PART OF THE MESH IS BLOCKED?

The large distributed mesh provides a degree of redundancy, so partial obstruction does not necessarily block pressure transfer, because a substantial open area may remain. This has not yet been quantified, so we cannot claim every obstruction scenario is risk-free. If the entire effective mesh area were blocked while the gel formed a complete seal, an isolated air space could theoretically be created, so inspect the mesh before every dive and stop the dive if equalization does not work normally.
