CAN WATER ENTER THE EAR CANAL AT DEPTH?

At the surface and shallow depth the mesh resists water penetration. As pressure increases, a limited amount of water passes through the mesh into the internal channel of the earplug, and at greater depth some water may enter the outer part of the ear canal, while a compressed air pocket may remain closest to the eardrum.
