UK groms trains at Snowdonia

Wave pools is a hot topic at the moment, not least after WSL acquiring Kelly Slater Wave Company. Most people probably agree that wave pools will never replace surfing in the ocean but possibly they can function as training facilities. Some talented groms including SurfEars ambassador Jo Morris, went to Snowdonia for a coaching session with their coach Joel Gray of Surf Solutions and they were impressed by the quality by the wave. “It’s kind of like skatepark for surfing. You know exactly what the wave is going to do so you can practice the same thing over again and again.” said Jo after the session.
