I am a 17 year old whitewater kayaker, and surfer, I have been involved with the ocean since I was a baby due to my dad and my older brother both being avid surfers. I started kayaking when I was 15 and have never turned back! I specialize in freestyle kayaking, which is surfing standing waves in the river in my kayak. Midway through 2015 I started creeking (running waterfalls and steep, technical rapids) and river running. I took part in the 2015 SA National freestyle championships and placed 4th in the open men category.

I have been using SurfEars for a few months now and they have been such a game changer! I feel like they would be a huge success in the whitewater kayaking industry because most SA’s kayakers are using silicon plugs, which has been affecting their balance, hearing and most importantly, banter, all of which are crucial to the sport.
