Grew up riding waves in Algarve, Portugal.  Surfs, skates, plays football and still makes time for school. Started at six, hasn’t looked back. She’s in it for the challenge, the freedom, and the feeling you get when you stop fighting the ocean and go with it.

 

What’s your favorite surf spot?

Praia da Rocha.

What does surfing mean to you in one word?

Passion.

In Ericeira with my friends after a comp.

How do SurfEars make a difference for you in the water?

They allow me to surf without getting ear infections.

What’s your go-to meal after a surf?

Açaí.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.

What motivates you to keep pushing yourself in surfing?

I want to keep getting better.

What’s one lesson the ocean has taught you?

That you can’t control everything — sometimes you just have to go with it.

What’s one small thing you do in everyday life to care for the environment?

Recycling.
