The Arctica

”The Arctica” is the feminized version of “The Arctic”, and its purpose is to highlight the female side of cold water surfing and surfing in general. It was not a coincidence this video was launched today, on the international women’s day. This edit, featuring one of Scandinavia’s top female surfer Maria Petersson, is claimed to be the first ever Swedish female surf-edit, and hopefully there are more to come.

The Arctica is filmed during two months in in the beautiful setting of the Lofoten Islands in Norway. Filmed and edited by Pontus Pålsson.
