Shore Shots – The Irish Surfing Festival

Shore Shots started as a grassroots initiative in Dublin 4 years ago. Since than it has grown into a credible event which attracts visitors from all over Europe. The event has a good balance of movies, key note speakers, workshops, live music and at the end of each day a great party. Shore Shots celebrates the best of Ireland’s surfing culture, adventure, film, video, street art, tech and the Wild Atlantic Way. After the initial 3 years in Dublin the festival has moved to Sligo on the Irish west coast last year, which obviously opens the opportunity sneak off to catch some waves between the events happenings.

After last years success in Sligo the venue for this year has expanded even further and have promising lineup of guests and movie screenings (check out this years movies here).

“Of viking minds” -scooped the top prize on 2016s years festival.

The festival takes place on April 22-23 in “the Model” in Sligo. Tickets for the weekend are €40 (until midnight Wednesday March 22nd, then price will increase to €60) and include access to all films, talks, music and interviews. Will we see you there!?
