SurfEars on the WSL!

The best competitive surfers in the world compete for the world title on the World Surf League. The best surfers also use the best and latest equipment. We though that should include the best earplugs as well, so we decided do give SurfEars to all surfers at the Moche Ripcord Pro at Supertubos in Peniche, Portugal. We love to watch these guys surf and it would be a bummer if they couldn’t because of ear issues!

 

 

 

The event was exciting with some major upsets early in the event, including Mick Fanning and Adriano De Souza coming in to the event as number one and two going down in round 3 against local wild cards Frederico Morais and Vasco Ribeiro who went on all the way to quarter- and semi final. It ended with an all Brazilian final between Italo Ferreira and Filipe Toledo. After an amazing final in the Portuguese sunset, including a 10 point ride and a HUGE air reverse, Filipe ended up winning the Moche Ripcord Pro.

This is leaving the word title race open for the final event at Pipeline, where Mick Fanning, Filipe Toledo, Adriano de Souza, Gabriel Medina, Julian Wilson and Owen Wright all might end up being world champs. Who is your favorite for the title?
